Documentary Heritage Communities Program (DHCP)
On November 6, 2018, Library and Archives Canada (LAC) hosted a seminar dedicated to the Documentary Heritage Communities Program (DHCP): The Past Becomes the Future: Strengthening Communities Through Documentary Heritage. The following presentations were given by funding recipients, LAC subject matter advisors to DHCP, and representatives of other Government of Canada funding programs.
Update: The Government of Canada announced the elimination of the DHCP in 2025. The AAO sent a letter advocating for the program's restoration.
